Microfiction: 2 Stories about Rama's Battle with Ravana

Two Sentence Story: Under the shade of the Ashoka tree, Sita's heart swells with love as she catches sight of Rama running towards her. As he gets closer, she sees love and happiness shining in his eyes, but it slowly turns to sadness.

Author's Note: I chose the moment of Rama and Sita's bittersweet reunion. He is overjoyed to see her, but societal pressures cause him great pain when he knows that Ravana has looked upon Sita with lust and possession. I chose the 2 sentence story since the first moment Rama and Sita see each other again is such a meaningful and pivotal meoment for their relationship.

Twitterature: Thank the Gods for the Brahma! I struck Ravana in the chest with it and now he's dead! WE WON GUYS! #percyjacksonwho

Author's Note: This tweet corresponds to Rama's victory over Ravana by killing him the Brahma during their final battle. I also threw some shade in there at Percy Jackson to add some comic relief and saltiness from Rama (please don't kill me, Percy Jackson is a great series). I chose the Tweet format since people like to share big moments of their lives online so I feel like Rama would post a status about overcoming a huge obstacle aka killing his (im)mortal nemesis.
